Description
The client wanted to increase their sales of cruises to Stockholm, especially among young adults that neither perceive such an activity as cool or exclusive. With this in mind, the main challenge was to create a solution that would a) show tailored examples of what a cruise actually offers and b) raise the profile of sea travel and the associated glamour.
The solution
The creative solution consisted of a cruise generator with a virtual human hostess (embedded videos) who walks the user through the matrix. The choices made by the user generate a tailor made program consisting of tips on both land and at sea. Additionally the generator produces a personalised name for your cruise that can be sent as an invitation to friends that might want to tag along.
The results
The site attracted approx. 150.000 visitors. The average time of a session was 5min 3sec
