Description

Tripsay is an online community for travellers to share and discover information with like-minded enthusiasts around the world. Valve is an investor in Tripsay and partnered with the core start up team in developing the brand, concept, visual design, interface and information architecture for the site. The online travel sector is a fiercely competitive environment where it is vital to stand out and gain consumer confidence.

Solution

Valve’s dedicated design team worked in harmony with Tripsay to develop a concept that moved away from text-based content to a visually inspiring interface. The site combined map-based navigation, a rich combination of user-generated and license-free imagery, and sophisticated content personalisation and filtering. Tripsay.com features a bespoke content management system, as well as an API and widgets that drive traffic to and from partner sites and social networks.

Results

Tripsay.com has thrived on user feedback and various feature additions and modifications have been implemented as a result of dialogue, testing and analytics. Tripsay has been acclaimed with global press coverage and continues to expand in reach and influence through partnership building with major travel brands.
