Double bronze for Folk Finland and Valve from Epica

Folk Finland and Valve won two bronzes at this year’s Epica Awards with two different films, made for the Finnish locking system company Abloy. The films are part of the company’s 110 year-jubilee campaign.

The “Immortal Mr. Henriksson” film was awarded in the Corporate Image category. The film is all about the man who invented the ABLOY lock and tells the untold story behind the company and its history. A shorter film, “The Escapist”, that focused on product benefit was awarded in Homes, Furnishing & Appliances category.

Both of the films were produced by Valve Media, directed by Pekka Hara and shot by Kjell Lagerroos.

Epica is judged by journalists working for marketing and communications titles. More than 60 magazines and websites around the world are on our jury. The competition is open to all agencies, production houses, photographers and designers.
