Valve acquires Kaimana's technology business

Valve acquired the technology business of Kaimana, Finland and now offers more comprehensive services to build growth in the marketing and sales technology transformation.

With the acquisition, the entire customer base of the Kaimana technology business and its 15 employees have been transferred to Valve as of 1st of October. The deal will strengthen Valve's services, particularly in software development, integrations, e-commerce solutions including the WooCommerce platform, and WordPress websites.

"We are happy to tell our clients about our enhanced capabilities to provide expertise in a changing business environment. We have strong roots in technology expertise, and with this acquisition we strengthen them further. We want to help our clients find and build the right technology solutions and platforms for marketing and sales, and to create a customer experience that seamlessly combines digital and traditional channels" says Jorma Maaninka, CEO of Valve Branding.

The acquisition also supports Valve's strategy to create profitable growth both organically and through M&A.

B2B sales are expected to grow significantly in the coming years, from $1.7 billion to $2.5 billion in the US alone by 2026. At the same time, B2B marketing is undergoing a transformation as companies' buying paths start and increasingly also end online. This trend is also supported by the transition of the digital natives to the B2B decision makers.

Strengthening our technology expertise will enhance Valve's ability to serve clients in this changing business environment.
